Ann Widdecombe is an instantly recognisable former politician, having held positions as a minister during her 23 year tenure as MP for Maidstone and The Weald and also represented the South West of England in European parliament as an MEP. Holding eminently sensible and truly conservative beliefs, she was one of the key figures in the fight for Brexit. Alongside her glittering political career, Ann is an author and much-loved media personality with a wide body of work. Instantly recognisable for her no-nonsense approach to common sense and a great champion in the fight for upholding the family unit as necessary in society, she is a staunch ally to social conservatives throughout the nation. The Orthodox Conservatives were delighted to install Ann as honourary Group President in 2022.
Sir John Hayes MP

Sir John Hayes is the MP for South Holland and the Deepings in rural Lincolnshire. He is a senior and well-respected figure, the leading social conservative in the House of Commons- the frontman of the Common Sense Caucus, the successor to the Cornerstone Group. Since our formation, he has been a supporter of our organisation, even sponsoring a room for us in Parliament. A formidable defender of human life, Britain’s sovereignty, communitarianism, and a moderate economy in the nation’s interest, he is a vocal critic of wokeness, cultural Marxism, and the culture of repudiation which is so predominant in our universities and institutions today. He is a graduate from the University of Nottingham and has been in the Commons since 1997. We are both grateful and honoured to have his active support.
